What this involves.

Drywall finishing and skim coating are where patience pays off, since the final surface only looks as good as the last coat and sanding. We tape and mud the seams and corners through multiple coats, then apply a skim coat over the surface to even out texture and small imperfections. Each layer is sanded smooth so the wall reads flat under paint and consistent in any light. This is also how we bring older or patched walls up to a uniform finish. The result is a smooth, level surface that is ready for primer and paint.
