What this involves.

Deck staining and sealing protects the wood from moisture and UV, and the result depends on starting with a clean, dry, sanded surface. We clean the decking to lift dirt, gray, and old finish, then sand the boards and rails smooth and set any popped fasteners. Once the wood is ready, we apply stain evenly so it penetrates and brings out the grain, then seal it to shed water and slow fading. Whether the deck is bare, weathered, or due for a refresh, we work boards and railings together so the color is consistent and the surface is protected underfoot.
