Floor Removal & Demolition
Before a new floor can go in, the old one has to come out cleanly and the base underneath has to be sound. We handle floor removal and demolition from tear-out to haul-away, so you start the new floor on a clean, ready surface.
What this involves.
Floor removal and demolition is the messy first step that makes everything after it go smoothly, and how it is done affects the subfloor you build on. We protect the surrounding areas, then pull up the old flooring, whether that is carpet and pad, glued or floating vinyl, laminate, tile and thinset, or worn hardwood. We scrape and clean the subfloor so adhesive, staples, and debris are gone, then check the base for damage that needs attention before new flooring goes down. We bag and haul away the old material and leave the room clean, so the next phase starts on a sound, ready surface instead of a hidden mess.
