Skip Trowel & Knockdown Texture

What this involves.

Skip trowel and knockdown are textured finishes with their own techniques, and the result lives or dies on a consistent pattern from one end of the room to the other. We prep and prime the surface, then apply the compound and work it with the trowel or knockdown method to build the look you want. We control the timing and pressure so the texture stays even and the pattern does not wander. When we are matching an existing finish, we test first to dial in the look. The result is a custom, uniform texture ready for paint.
