Stucco Repair
Cracked or crumbling stucco lets water into the wall, and water is what turns a small crack into a big repair. We fix stucco damage and blend the patch back so the wall looks whole again.
What this involves.
Stucco repair starts with finding out why the stucco failed, whether it's settling, trapped moisture, or a worn-out finish, so the patch actually holds. We cut back to sound material, repair or replace the lath and barrier where needed, and rebuild the coats so the patch bonds to the surrounding wall instead of popping back out. Then we match the texture and feather the finish so the repair blends in rather than standing out. From hairline cracks to larger failing sections, we seal the wall back up and keep water where it belongs, outside.
- Inspecting the damage to find the cause before patching
- Cutting back cracked or loose stucco to sound, solid material
- Repairing or replacing lath and the moisture barrier where needed
- Rebuilding the base coats so the patch bonds to the wall
- Matching the surrounding texture and feathering the finish
- Sealing cracks and penetrations to keep water out
- Final check to confirm the repair is solid and blends in
