What this involves.

Repointing is about restoring the joints that hold a masonry wall together and keep water out, so the prep matters as much as the new mortar. We assess the wall, rake out failed and cracked mortar to a sound depth, and clean the joints so the new mortar bonds properly. We replace cracked or spalled brick and stone where needed, then repack the joints with mortar matched to the original color and tooled to match the existing profile. We clean the face as we go so the repair blends in. The result is a wall that is tight, weather-resistant, and consistent end to end.
