Flagstone Installation
Flagstone brings a relaxed, natural look to walkways and patios with its broad, flat shapes. We handle flagstone installation from base prep to final jointing, so the stones sit flat, drain well, and feel solid to walk on.
What this involves.
Flagstone reads simple, but laying it well takes patience because the pieces are irregular and the joints have to flow. We build a compacted, well-drained base, then dry-fit the flagstone piece by piece to balance the gaps and reduce trip points. We set each stone level on a sand bed or mortar it over a slab, trimming where needed so neighboring pieces meet cleanly. We slope the surface for water and fill the joints with sand, stone dust, or mortar to keep everything tight. The result is a flat, natural surface that works for both walking and gathering.
